Member of the Board
Hemant Datta serves as co-founder and Chief Operations Officer for JHC Technology, Inc., and serves as an Executive Board Member for GenomeNext. Hemant is an enterprise architect with extensive experience in the areas of Microsoft SharePoint technologies, system architecture, database engineering and application design and administration. He has implemented projects utilizing standards such as CMMI and PMP guidelines in order to manage projects to the highest levels of success, and has also leveraged his knowledge and expertise in information sharing and Web 2.0 tools such as social networking, blogs and wikis.
With over 10 years of experience, Hemant has been involved in a diverse range of technology projects across multiple industries ranging from network infrastructure, systems architecture, development, full life-cycle implementation to systems integration solutions with industry leading technologies. At the FBI, he was the Deputy Lead on one of the largest and fastest data migration and Blackberry deployments, where over 40,000 accounts and 20,000 BlackBerry devices were deployed over the world. While working at Booz Allen Hamilton, Hemant led the efforts of architecting and implementing the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s SharePoint intranet and extranet portal environments, providing both document management and collaboration tools. Most recently, he implemented a social networking and information sharing SharePoint site for his clients at DHS. He is also involved in helping organizations such as Recall, Inc. and Office of People’s Counsel to leverage SharePoint as their content management tool and implement a governance model to manage the environment.
Mr. Datta has a Masters in Information Technology from Virginia Tech and is currently pursuing his MBA at George Washington University.
